Host a listening party for your community

Listening parties are a great way to bring your community together around to inspire collective action to protect your local soils, support your local farmers or restore health and biodiversity in your community. We’ll provide you with a guide for hosting events and a video file with the transcript (like the example below)* to make your listening event the most impactful if can be.

Please note this will be available for events in late November 2025 onwards. If you would like to play SOIL at an event sooner, please get in touch.

What’s involved

1. Decide which episode speaks to your community’s values

Depending on the cause most important to you or your community - supporting farmers, restoring biodiversity, health & nutrition, climate change or food security - you may want to listen to a particular part of SOIL: Rewilding the Underground together.

2.We’ll provide you with a detailed listening pack to help plan your event

This includes a video file with the episode transcribed (like the example above), holding slides to have on screen before and after you’ve listened, a discussion guide, and a detailed how-to guide for planning, promoting, hosting and making the most out of a community listening event.

3. Make an impact with your community

Depending on what’s important to you and your community, you can use this night to have collective impact, such as fundraising to protect soils or boost regenerative farming, kickstarting important community discussions, profiling a farmer or a group doing important work to protect soils in your local area, etc.
